Elizabeth Burton

A native of Pennsylvania and a former print journalist, Liz picked up her long-neglected fiction writing career two years ago when she remarried and moved to Austin, Texas. A member of the Austin Writers League and the Guild of Electronic Authors, she has had work published in The Texas Gazette, OmegaZine and The Romantic Bower. She is also the contributing editor for Science Fiction and Fantasy on Film for Suite101.com and The Blue Iris Journal, a book review ezine. "Simple Sarah and Slippery Sam" was a 1999 Writers of the Future contest first-quarter finalist. Her first novel, Dreams of Darkness: Book I of the Everdark War will be available in September from Pulsar Books.
