Robert R. Shelsky

Robert Shelsky was born in Texas, raised in Massachusetts, Australia, and California. He attended Southwestern College, the University of Victoria, B.C., Canada, and San Diego State University. His background is in science and technical writing. He has had stories published at Gateway SF, ("Let It Be Forever"), Alien Skin Magazine ("Implosion"). "Soap Bubbles" is yet another sci-fi story of his, and a time-travel romance ("A Confederate Yankee in Annabelle's Court") is coming out in 2005 with Arabella Romances. He also has written for the Internet Review of Science Fiction and currently is a columnist for Alien Skin Magazine (articles on how to write science fiction). Also, and this he is very happy about, he has placed four consecutive times in the L. Ron Hubbard Science Fiction Writers of the Future Contest. Robert has just moved to ten acres in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina where he hopes to start a writers' colony. One of his favorite pastimes is sipping a glass of wine and watching the sunset over those mountains.
