We've got some between-issue additions to the site. For your listening pleasure, Stephen D. Rogers reads his contributions to the Summer Issue: "Milking the Dragon," "Merlin's Razor" and "The Price of Peace."

Despite my natural suspicion of the Big Guy (not to mention superfluous exclamation points) I'm taking advantage of some of the services offered by Yahoo!: there's now a Fables webring; if you've got an appropriate site, please feel free to join. I've also created a discussion list, Fables-zine. (This is in addition to the existing announcements list, which will continue as before.)

We've got prizes to give away. We have several promotional copies of Empty Cities of the Full Moon by Howard V. Hendrix, which will be reviewed in the Autumn Issue. Join the mailing lists or the webring for a chance to win a copy.

I'd like to welcome students enrolled in English 305 at Athabasca University. Hopefully Fables will prove to be an enjoyable addition to your syllabus.

For various reasons (primarily the fact that I'll be out of the country for part of September), the Autumn Issue will be delayed a few days, but should be up by the first of October.
