Welcome to the Winter issue!

In the Great Hall, enjoy "The Last Novitiate" by Bruce Boston, "Jennie Janes the Pistol Toting, Wheelchair Rolling, Licensed Demon Hunter Takes on the Demons in Preacher Bob's Room of Repentence" by Stephen Crane Davidson (which, in my humble opinion, takes the cake in the fabulous title category). G. W. Thomas's Rainbow Man stories wrap up with "Loneliness," "Death Is...," "The End," and "Death of the Rainbow Man." Alan Bruce and Stephen Tennant continue the Death theme with (respectively) "Lochlan" and "Steel and Bones." On a lighter note, Christine G. Richardson introduces us to a frustrated dragon faced with "Pretty Maids All in a Row." Simon Wood weighs in with a Twilight Zone-ish piece, "Runway Three-Seven." And finally, Gwyneth Jones reinterprets an old story in "The Lovers."

Bruce Boston lurks in the Poetry section as well, with "Tale of the Crone Goddess" and "Uroboros." Melissa Pinol also returns with a trio of poems: "Banshee," "Earth Dragon," and "Shapeshifter's Chant." Corina Logan describes the wonder of the "Unicorn" and British author Peter Crowther rounds out the section with "In Mendaala with the Rains".

Check out the reviews of K. G. McAbee's A Fine Impersonation and D. F. Huettner's Letting Go, as well as our expanding Marketplace.
